About

I’m Hannah Coffman, founder of Coffman Career Coaching.

When I’m not in the Ozark mountains, I’m probably writing, connecting with a client over Zoom, or putting the finishing touches on a winning resume.

I’m a freelance writer with over a decade of experience in writing, editing, and writing-related tutoring. I’ve earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing and a Master of Science in Technical Communication, and my professional experience is diverse: I’ve held roles as a writing tutor, technical editor, university professor at Missouri University of Science & Technology, and professional resume writer for the award-winning companies Let’s Eat, Grandma Resume Services and TopResume.

One common thread connects these roles: I love to coach and help clients learn how to write strong documents that represent their key strengths.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve helped hundreds of clients develop excellent professional documents, from students entering the job market for the first time to Fortune 500 executives and Harvard-educated professionals. My clients have a diverse range of needs and I tailor my approach to best meet those individual needs.

I enjoy using my skills to help others in practical ways. That’s why I’ve created Coffman Career Coaching. Job seeking is exhausting and vulnerable, and having another person to guide you through the process makes an immense difference.
